What is Budecort Respule 0.5? Budecort Respule 0.5 is a corticosteroid that prevents inflammation in the lungs and airways. It reduces allergic reactions in the airways and allows easier air flow to and from the lungs by preventing chemicals in the immune system from reacting. It can control and prevent asthma symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath and other lung diseases.
How is Budecort Respule 0.5 used? Budecort Respule 0.5 is inhaled with a nebulizer by mouth 1 to 2 times daily as directed by your doctor. It is not recommended to use more or less than the prescribed dosage, contact a doctor for correct dosage. While inhaling the respule, breathe calmly and deeply until the mist has evaporated, usually 10 to 15 minutes. Avoid getting medication in eyes. To avoid dry mouth or infection, you can gargle your mouth with water after each use. Do not stop medication without consulting a doctor as abruptly stopping medication may make conditions worst.
