Allegra - Allegra hydrochloride, the active ingredient of Allegra, is a histamine H1-receptor antagonist with the chemical name (±)-4-[1-hydroxy-4-[4-(hydroxydiphenylmethyl)-1-piperidinyl]-butyl]-(alpha), (alpha)-dimethyl benzeneacetic acid hydrochloride.
