About KEPPRA 250MG

Keppra - Used for: Treating partial-onset, myoclonic, or generalized tonic-clonic seizures in patients with epilepsy. It is used in combination with other medicines. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Keppra is an anticonvulsant. Exactly how it works is not known, but it may work by slowing abnormal nerve impulses in the brain.

Indications: epilepsy

Monotherapy in the treatment of partial onset seizures w/ or w/o secondary generalisation in patients from 16 yr w/ newly diagnosed epilepsy. Adjunctive treatment of partial onset seizures w/ or w/o secondary generalization in adult & childn from 4 yr w/ epilepsy; myoclonic seizures in adults & adolescents from 12 yr w/ Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy; primary generalised tonic-clonic seizures in adults & adolescents from 12 yr w/ Idiopathic Generalised Epilepsy.
