Maxgalin - Maxgalin is used to treat epilepsy (also known as seizures or fits). It is also used to relieve nerve pain in people with diabetes or shingles. Maxgalin may also be used to relieve pain and discomfort in people with fibromyalgia, a condition in which there is severe fatigue and muscle aches. Maxgalin is an anticonvulsant drug used for neuropathic pain and as an adjunct therapy for partial seizures with or without secondary generalization in adults. It was designed as a more potent successor to gabapentin. Maxgalin is marketed by Pfizer under the trade name Lyrica. | |
